We recently took a roadtrip to Arizona to meet my parents for my dads 60th birthday. We were not looking forward to the 7 hour drive with a toddler, but again, Troy was amazing. He did great and kept us very entertained the whole trip. Here we are at the Grand Canyon.

Our Baby Boy...
...is not so much a baby anymore. Troy is now almost 19 months and still amazes us on a daily basis. Derek and I still look at each in awe and wonder how this little boy could possibly be ours, he is just too perfect. He seems to get cuter and smarter by the day and definitely keeps us on our toes. He is one busy boy that never erases the smile off his face. I enjoy staying home with him more then words could say (and am very grateful). We laugh and play all day, everyday. And I just love watching him learn something new everyday. He's a little sponge and is now talking up a storm. He also does sign language (we have been taking a mommy and me class since he was about 6 months old). He has the occasional toddler melt down, but not very often and I know this is in part because if he can't verbally tell me what he wants, he can sign it. It has saved all of us so much frustration. Everywhere we go I constantly get told how well behaved he is and how well we communicate with each other. No one ever believes he is only the age he is. Even his pediatrician is always impressed with what he is doing at his age commenting on how he is at least six months ahead of the norm. We are VERY proud parents to say the least. He is such a special little guy and is growing up way too fast!
